Claudio Caprio is a Chemical Engineering Graduate from the University of Rhode Island with both a B.S. and M.S. with research in the area of Reverse Osmosis. Claudio has over 33 years of experience in Engineering and Management while at IBM/Loral/ Lockheed Martin/BAE SYSTEMS. His current assignment is Manager of Technology Products and Business Manager for all Civil/NASA Missions at BAE Systems, Inc. BAE SYSTEMS, Inc. is an Aerospace Defense Contractor with the Manassas Facility specializing in Radiation Hardened Space Electronics. In addition, he holds site responsibilities for the Women in Technology (WIT) Program and the Summer Intern Program.

Claudio is a current member of American Nuclear Society and the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA).

Claudio and his wife Kim, a Director for the Department of Defense, Office of the Inspector General (DoDIG) reside in Springfield, VA with their daughter Lauren, who is attending Virginia Tech (Class of '07) majoring in Marketing and Finance.
