Mr. Paul Huffman
A third generation foundry worker, Paul Huffman is president of Dominion Metallurgical (DOMET) located in Roanoke, VA. Domet is a full service engineering and supply organization, which specializes in the turnkey supply of cast, forged, and machined metal components to industry. The majority of Domet's customers are Fortune 500 OEM companies. Domet's web site is www.dom-met.com. A Metallurgical Engineering graduate of Va. Tech, Mr. Huffman serves on their Industry Advisory Board and is a member of the American Society for Metals. He also serves as Education Chairman and a Director for The American Foundry Society and is a Trustee for The Foundry Education Foundation. Prior to founding Domet, Mr. Huffman was the Plant Metallurgical Engineer for the Pangborn Division of The Carborundum Company in Hagerstown, MD and the Plant Manager for Graham-White Foundry in Salem, VA. Mr. Huffman is also the Managing Partner for Safety Step, LLC. Safety Step is a supplier of metal step stools and hose accessory components. Their web site is www.safetystep.net. He lives with his wife and two sons in Roanoke, VA.
