The Departments of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, and Physics were among this year's recipients of a University Exemplary Department Award. The theme for the 2003 award is "working collaboratively across departmental boundaries to fulfill common or complementary goals." A reception was held November 6 at the German Club.
