of a 3-Inch Confederate
Field Rifle at the Gettysburg Musem. Above, the pattern
undergoes finishing touches.

pattern half is placed in a wooden flask built especially for
that pattern. Shown above is the drag, or the bottom half of
the pattern, in its flask with styrofoam gating
in place. |
